This Mother's Day was full of love and pleasant surprises.
Normally, it breaks my heart to see the kids arguing. But last night, when the kids fought each other for the cost of blessing me on Mother's Day, I was all smiles.
In the past, my girl would make breakfast for me. But this year, the boy wanted a turn to make me breakfast in bed. So, my 2nd one baked star-burst sugar cookies last night instead. My boy and the youngest one woke up early to make me pancakes, tea and a bowl of fruits. The little one drew and wrote MANY pictures and notes for me and asked daddy to take her shopping for mommy. Daddy agreed to split the cost with her. Together, they got my favorite body mist. At our small group, each mom got a long stem of rose. For dinner, my husband made crab pasta and managed to complete a 4 course meal. The 2nd one made a Mother's Day Dinner Menu and laminated it. And finally, our dear neighbor brought a Tiramisu cake to share with us. What a wonderful day to share with my loved ones.
